Zarminali Pediatrics, the first outpatient pediatric destination purpose-built to provide integrated primary and specialty care nationwide, is expanding its presence in the Chicago area with the opening of three new clinics. New locations are open in Central Naperville, West Lakeview and Park Ridge. This expansion increases access to a more connected, family-centered model designed to simplify care and better support both children and parents, building on the momentum of its Arlington Heights clinic.
The name “Zarminali” is inspired by the name Zarmina, which means “something more precious than gold.” It reflects a belief shared by parents everywhere: there is nothing more valuable than their child. That philosophy shapes how care is delivered at Zarminali, with a focus on giving families more time, attention, and coordinated support than they typically experience in traditional pediatric settings.
Zarminali Pediatrics is working to transform pediatric healthcare by addressing fragmentation and redesigning care around the needs of children and families. The company brings together primary care, specialty services, and care teams in a single, integrated setting, creating a more connected and accessible experience. Designed to support children from birth through adulthood, this model gives families coordinated care in one place and enables more proactive, comprehensive support. For families, this replaces the traditional experience of juggling multiple providers and long wait times with a single, coordinated care destination built entirely around their child. All three locations will offer primary care at launch, with additional specialty services and expanded care offerings to be introduced over time as each clinic continues to expand its capabilities.
The experience inside each clinic is also intentionally different. Spaces are designed using evidence-based principles to create a calm, supportive environment from the moment families walk in. Familiar materials and the use of curves and circles help reduce anxiety, while sensory-friendly features such as integrated sound systems and dimmable lighting improve comfort. Music and scent are used carefully, with attention to allergies, sensitivities, and neurodivergent needs. The goal is to make visits easier for children and less stressful for parents.
The West Lakeview clinic is staffed by Ashima Gupta, MD, a board-certified pediatrician focused on preventive care and complex conditions; Jennifer Misasi, CPNP-PC, a pediatric nurse practitioner with experience caring for medically complex children; and Jennifer Perez, MD, a double board-certified pediatrician with expertise in obesity medicine, behavioral health, and chronic conditions.
At the Park Ridge clinic, care is led by Sarah Breen, DO, a board-certified pediatrician specializing in developmentally appropriate, whole-child care, alongside Laurie Strotman, CPNP, a pediatric nurse practitioner with a focus on preventive care, chronic condition management, and behavioral health, and a strong connection to the local community.
The Central Naperville clinic is staffed by Reshma D. Ajmere, MD, a board-certified pediatrician with expertise in asthma, allergies, and neurodevelopmental conditions, and Lori Jones, CPNP-PC, a pediatric nurse practitioner focused on preventive care and adolescent health.
“Expanding our presence in the Chicago area is an exciting step as we continue to increase access to a more thoughtful and family-focused pediatric care experience,” said Danish Qureshi, founder and CEO. “With our new clinics in West Lakeview, Park Ridge, and Central Naperville, we’re honored to welcome families into our spaces designed specifically for children and the people who care for them. Our goal is to make it easier for parents to access the guidance, expertise, and continuity of care their kids need to grow up healthy.”
Families can schedule appointments online or by calling the clinics.
