Paula Britio, MD, is an experienced, board-certified pediatrician who is dedicated to providing family-centered care. Her longstanding love for children naturally led her into the field of pediatrics. Driven by her personal experiences, Dr. Brito has a special interest in caring for children with complex medical needs, including autism spectrum disorder. She recognizes that families know their children best and believes listening carefully to parents and maintaining open communication allows her to provide personalized and effective care. Dr. Brito earned her medical degree at Fundacao Tecnico Educacional Souza Marques, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and completed general pediatric residency training at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Brito also completed a visiting fellowship in pediatric nephrology at the University of Minnesota College of Medicine. Outside the practice, Dr. Brito volunteers at Can Do Canines and You are Not Alone, supporting children and families in the community. She enjoys crocheting, knitting, baking, hiking, traveling, and spending weekends at the lake with her family.
