About Abi Clark, SLP

Abi is a speech-language pathologist who takes a strengths-based, collaborative approach to supporting children's development through child-led, play-based therapy. She partners with families to build practical strategies that carry over into daily routines while honoring each child’s individual strengths.

Abi earned her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, and her Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Mich.

Her clinical interests include supporting autistic children, early language delays, speech sound disorders—including childhood apraxia of speech—augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and gestalt language processing. Her philosophy of care is rooted in a neurodiversity-affirming approach that honors each child’s unique way of communicating and interacting with the world.

In her free time, Abi enjoys spending time with family and friends, participating in fitness classes, exploring new local restaurants, and cheering on Detroit sports teams.
