Dr. Ami Mavani is a board-certified pediatrician who grew up in Mumbai, India, inspired by her physician parents to follow them into medicine. She believes a healthy, fulfilling life begins in childhood, and she is passionate about helping families make well-informed choices for their children. Her approach centers on the whole child, thoughtfully blending conventional pediatrics with integrative and holistic medicine. She encourages healthy eating and active lifestyles as the foundation of lifelong wellness, and she has special interests in pediatric mental health, food allergies, asthma, and gut health. In addition to her board certification in pediatrics, Dr. Mavani holds a certification from the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Outside the clinic, Dr. Mavani loves cooking different cuisines and has a special interest in the healing properties of food. She enjoys sketching and painting, especially while in nature, and traveling with her family to learn about different cultures and styles of healing arts.
