Danielle Palm is a licensed professional clinical counselor who supports children, teens, and families through anxiety, ADHD, trauma, grief, and the emotional challenges of growing up. She brings deep experience in school-based mental health, partnering with parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to help children thrive in the places where they live and learn. A Minnesota native, she is proud to care for families in the community where she grew up.
Connection before correction guides everything Danielle does. She believes children's behavior is communication, and that meaningful change begins when a child feels safe, seen, and understood. Her approach to child and adolescent mental health is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and developmentally appropriate, helping children build emotional awareness, self-regulation, coping skills, and a positive sense of self. Because supporting a child means supporting the people around them, she works closely with caregivers on practical strategies families can carry into everyday life.
Before joining Zarminali Pediatrics, Danielle completed a post-master's clinical fellowship. She earned her Master of Arts in counseling and her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Crown College and is a member of the American Psychological Association. Outside the clinic, she coaches gymnastics and enjoys camping, reading, and exploring Minnesota trails with her dog, Charlie.
