Denishia Tatum is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner and pediatric mental health specialist dedicated to providing compassionate, holistic care for children and families. She brings extensive experience across bedside nursing, case management, teaching, and advanced practice care.
She earned her Master's in nursing at Grand Canyon and post Master's certification at Maryville University.
Denishia’s dedication to pediatric care is deeply personal. Having lost her mother in a childhood tragedy, Denishia understands the impact of positive role models and strives to serve as a caring, culturally humble advocate for every child she cares for.
As a lifelong learner, Denishia enjoys reading broadly and exploring new ideas outside of medicine. When she’s not at the practice, she loves creating memories with her daughter, spending time together on beach getaways, and she’s always her biggest fan at basketball and volleyball competitions.
