J'Melia Richardson is a licensed clinical social worker who brings a warm, steady approach to supporting children, youth and families. A lifelong connection to Michigan, where she trained and built relationships with families and providers across Metro Detroit, drew J’Melia back to practice in the region. She earned her Master of Social Work, with a concentration in integrated behavioral health, from the University of Michigan School of Social Work, and her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of West Florida. She holds an Infant Mental Health Endorsement and is a Medicaid-enrolled doula. Outside the clinic, J’Melia enjoys walking state park trails with her dog, Olli, and is learning Mandarin.
