Katelin (Katie) is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner, and she’s excited to return to Milwaukee where she earned her graduate degree and met her husband. She leads with evidence-based medicine and encourages families to be part of the decision-making for their child’s care. Katie approaches families with kindness, compassion, and fun to treat the physical, emotional, social, and developmental health of her patients. Her clinical interests include rheumatology, oncology, and dermatology. She has a personal interest in supporting families with premature infants, having experienced the challenges firsthand when her oldest daughter was born prematurely. Katie earned her Master of Science in nursing from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisc. and completed her undergraduate degree at Washington State University in Pullman, Wash. Katie is married and is an active mom of two girls. Their hound/lab mix, Mile, rounds out their family. If she’s not working, she’s likely playing Paw Patrol, building with magnet tiles, or playing Guess Who. She enjoys cooking, especially homemade pizza and baking with her girls. She also finds time to read and play in an adult recreational volleyball league.
