Kevin Zhagui is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who provides mental health care for children and adolescents in the Henderson and Las Vegas communities. His areas of focus include anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, trauma-related concerns, behavioral challenges, and difficulties with emotional regulation. His practice includes comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, evidence-based treatment planning, and medication management.
He believes effective mental health care starts with listening. Kevin strives to create a supportive, respectful, and judgment-free environment where patients and parents feel heard and involved, combining evidence-based treatment with an understanding of each child's developmental stage, strengths, and family environment. He chose pediatric mental health because supporting young people early can have a meaningful impact on their development, confidence, and well-being, and he is passionate about helping families find practical, effective ways to support their child.
Born in Queens, New York, and raised in the Las Vegas community, Kevin built both his nursing and advanced practice career at home and is excited to keep serving local families. He earned his Master of Science in nursing and his Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, graduating summa cum laude, and is certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Outside the clinic, he enjoys staying active at the gym, playing pickleball, photography, and spending time with family, friends, and his Shih Tzu-Pomeranian mix.
