About Kimberly Christensen, PsyD

Dr. Christensen's clinical training spans a range of settings, including county children’s mental health, state-operated behavioral health programs, schools, and a college counseling center. She provides individual therapy for children and young adults 6-22, specializing in concerns such as attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, life transitions (including divorce), self-harm, and academic or school-related challenges. Dr. Christensen is a licensed psychologist and is master-level certified in accelerated resolution therapy (ART) and has extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches. She earned her doctoral degree in counseling psychology from the University of St. Thomas.
