Dr. Lisa Turner is a board-certified pediatrician who has devoted her career to caring for infants, children, and teens — and to really hearing them. She believes the best care starts with listening, and families in Commerce Township know her as a doctor who takes the time to understand each child and build relationships that last through every stage of growing up.
Her path to the clinic is anything but ordinary. She began her career as a pediatrician in the United States Air Force, serving as chief of pediatrics with the 319th Medical Group, then spent 16 years caring for children at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital before joining the Commerce Township team. Families benefit from those decades of experience at every visit, whether it's a routine checkup or a worrying fever.
Dr. Turner earned her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University and completed her undergraduate studies at Pennsylvania State University. She is affiliated with DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital.
Outside the clinic, she loves lacing up her ice skates and heading to the rink, practicing and teaching Pilates, and most of all spending time with her family, especially in northern Michigan.
