Lori Carlson is a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience caring for children. She began her nursing career in pediatrics, where she developed a passion for supporting children and their families, before advancing her career as a pediatric nurse practitioner. She believes in building strong partnerships with families and providing individualized, compassionate care for every child. She also takes the time to listen to families, answer questions, and ensure that each child feels comfortable, heard, and cared for during every visit. Her approach is centered on creating a welcoming environment where families feel confident and supported in their child’s health and well-being. Lori earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wayne State University. Outside of work, she is the proud mom of two sons. She enjoys reading, gardening, and camping with her family and their three dogs. They love to travel and explore new places together. She and her family are also avid fans of Detroit sports and enjoy cheering on their favorite teams throughout the year, whether at home or at the stadium.
