About Megan Ardagh, LPC
Megan Ardagh is a licensed professional counselor and certified Sandtray Therapist specializing in working with children experiencing grief, trauma, and emotional or behavioral challenges. She views her role as both a therapist and a bridge—helping families better understand one another and grow together.
She earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Roosevelt University in Chicago and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Iowa.
Her areas of focus include grief and loss, PTSD (including complex trauma), anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, and supporting neurodivergent children, including those with autism, ADHD, and sensory sensitivities. She is experienced in working with children who identify as LGBTQIA+. Megan uses a child-led approach, meeting children where they are developmentally and allowing play to serve as a natural and therapeutic form of expression. She prioritizes building a warm, empathetic, and trusting relationship where children feel fully seen, understood, and free to be themselves.
Outside of her clinical work, Megan enjoys crocheting, crafting, hiking, gardening, reading, cooking, and playing video games.
