Melissa Hansing is a compassionate and dedicated pediatric nurse practitioner with a strong background in acute care, including valuable experience in an urban Level-1 pediatric emergency department. She brings both clinical expertise and genuine empathy to every patient interaction, striving to create a safe, supportive environment for children and their families.
She earned her Master of Science in nursing in Nursing Leadership and Management from Western Governors University, followed by a second Master of Science in nursing from St. Catherine University where she completed her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner training.
Melissa is an advocate for her patients and partners with families to provide thoughtful, individualized care. She loves working with diverse patient populations, and feels quality healthcare is a human right. Her approach blends clinical excellence with heartfelt compassion, ensuring each child and their family feels seen, heard, and cared for.
Melissa lives in Minneapolis and is the mother of twin sons and two naughty kitties. She enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, surfing, hiking, biking, and spending time together with her family.
