A board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Molly O'Shea has cared for children in the Greater Detroit area for more than three decades. She built her career in private practice close to where she grew up in Michigan, and families know her for her warmth and the lasting relationships she forms with them. Beyond the exam room, she has been active with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) as a journal editor, official media spokesperson and, most recently, as an AAP policy writer and national speaker on topics concerning the intersection of childhood, technology, and artificial intelligence (AI). A fierce advocate for children, Dr. O'Shea spends time talking with legislators to ensure kids have access to the healthcare resources they need. She speaks nationally on topics including suicide prevention, vaccines, and parenting. Away from work, she enjoys cooking for her large, blended family.
