Dr. Patricia Frye is a board-certified pediatrician who brings nearly four decades of experience caring for children, from newborn care and well-child visits to sick care and the management of chronic conditions. Also board-certified in lifestyle medicine, she believes lasting health starts with the everyday foundations of childhood — good nutrition, restful sleep, physical activity, and strong family connections — and she partners with families to build those habits together. Throughout her career, Dr. Frye has cared for children in nearly every setting. She spent 14 years as a partner physician with a large medical group in Southern California, where she was one of three pediatricians leading the evaluation of children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, and school and behavior concerns for Orange County. She has since served young patients at community health centers across the country and provided medical care to refugee children on behalf of the United States government. A graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, she completed her pediatric internship and residency at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Frye is passionate about making every child and family feel heard and supported, and she looks forward to caring for children in the Fredericksburg community at Zarminali Pediatrics – Fall Hill.
