About Peter Rajtar, MD
Dr. Peter Rajtar is a board-certified pediatrician with broad experience providing empathetic, comprehensive care to children. He brings a global perspective to the practice, having been born in Europe, raised in Australia and Canada, and lived in the Caribbean and across the United States.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine in the Netherlands and completed his pediatric residency at Mount Sinai Children’s Hospital in Chicago.
Dr. Rajtar values taking time with families to listen closely, collaborate, and create care plans that meet their child’s and family’s needs. His goal is for families to leave each visit feeling reassured, confident, and empowered in their child’s care.
Outside of work, Dr. Rajtar’s greatest joy is being a father. He also loves cooking and has been an avid home cook for nearly 30 years. He enjoys traveling, reading, fishing, kayaking, camping, and spending quality time with his spouse on date nights.
