Tiffany Thompson works with the Zarminali Pediatrics team by providing therapy and psychological assessment to children and teens, while offering guidance and support to parents seeking care on behalf of their children. She also provides psychotherapy to adults and is especially passionate about caring for new parents experiencing perinatal mental health conditions, such as perinatal depression or perinatal anxiety. Caring for parents is a vital piece of caring for families, as parental mental health directly affects a child's development and emotional bonds. Her research and clinical interests include maternal mental health, childhood development, addiction, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Tiffany is committed to continuing education, largely driven by her relationships with her patients, and she brings experience in inpatient psychiatric care. She believes that caring for a family begins with providing care and support for the parents. Tiffany grew up in Rochester Hills and has two young children of her own; loves spending time outside, traveling, and reading.
