The McKnight Pediatrics team has delivered personalized care to generations of families. Zarminali was founded on that same premise. With a name rooted in the meaning, “something that is more precious to you than gold,” Zarminali believes children are our most valuable gift in life and is devoted to partnering with parents and guardians through every stage of their child’s healthcare journey to create a better pediatric experience.

Our team takes pride in our work and the care we provide for the community, and we’re excited to continue carrying that forward under the Zarminali brand.

As part of Zarminali, we are part of the pediatric group being built to support families nationwide. We are proud that our practice will be the first of their practices to offer specialty care including behavioral health, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.  

The change of our name as part of becoming Zarminali is because of our commitment to creating an ever-better pediatric experience. 

Our practice has moved to a new electronic health record (EHR) which will enhance workflows for our team members so they can better support you and your family. 

All established families will receive a portal message with an invitation link for the new portal, giving you the option to create an account. This will be an important action for you to take to maintain connectivity to us via patient portal. 

While you will not be able to use your old portal for ongoing communication with our team, it’s important to note that you will maintain access to this portal for key information. 

Your old account will be used to: 

• Pay statements with a date of service before March 10, 2026.
• Review past visit notes, learning materials, health reminders, and referrals. 

For services March 10 and onwards, statements, visit notes, learning materials, health reminders, and referrals will be in the new Zarminali Pediatrics patient portal. 

If you have any issues with access, like adding family structure to your account if you have multiple children, please contact our clinic.

Once you have access, you should not notice significant changes on your end as the overall portal experience will not change. You will still be able to:  

• Make payments online and/or save credit cards on file for future services
• Communicate with your care team 
•  View test results and referrals

Starting March 23, families who have created a new patient portal account will be able to schedule appointments through the portal.

Today, how you contact the office or make an appointment when you need to be seen by one of our clinicians remains the same. You can make an appointment by giving us a call.

Starting March 23, new and established families will be able to schedule appointments on zarminali.com. Families who create a patient portal account will also be able to schedule through the portal starting March 23. 

No. We’ll continue to offer all current services.

Yes. This change does not impact the insurance plans we accept.

You may continue to make payments on the patient portal for services before March 10, 2026. We've made the decision to stop taking cash payments and are no longer accepting checks in the clinic. If you prefer to pay by check, you will be able to mail them to the address listed on your statement. We felt the resources needed to support continuation of receiving these payment options would be better spent in ways that add value to the patient experience. Moving forward this change keeps our resourced focused on your child's care.
