Gretchen Gramer, MA, CCC-SLP
Gretchen Gramer is a certified speech-language pathologist who helps children and families reach their communication goals through individualized, evidence-based care. She has worked across outpatient clinics and schools supporting children with a variety of communication disorders, including but not limited to autism, genetic syndromes, cerebral palsy, trauma histories, receptive and expressive language disorders, articulation/phonological disorders, and fluency disorders. She has a particular passion for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) — helping children find their voice when spoken language alone isn't enough. Gretchen earned her BA in speech-language-hearing sciences and her MA in speech-language pathology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, completing the bilingual and multicultural emphasis program. She's an intermediate Spanish speaker with experience working at a bilingual school with a linguistically diverse student body, as a school-based SLP. She is an author who contributes to publications and the Zarminali blog, where she writes about practical, evidence-based strategies families can use at home.
