James Bakerink, MD

Dr. James Bakerink, also known as "Dr. B," is a board-certified pediatrician with extensive experience in pediatrics, and he is dedicated to providing compassionate, collaborative care for children. Dr. Bakerink earned his medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno, Nev. and completed his pediatric residency at the University of California, Davis. He later served as chief of pediatrics at Summerlin Hospital for several years. Dr. Bakerink continues to work in the Las Vegas Valley, caring for children of all ages and building trusted relationships with families while delivering thoughtful and compassionate care to patients from all walks of life. He is deeply committed to serving underserved children and has supported international medical service and charitable projects in Brazil, Africa, and Honduras. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Bakerink shares his expertise with parents and caregivers as a contributor to the Zarminali Pediatrics website.
