Pediatric Neurology Services

Our pediatric neurologists provide diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment for children, teens, and young adults. We care for kids with seizures and epilepsy, headaches and migraines, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder and comorbid conditions, tics and Tourette syndrome, sleep disorders, developmental delays, and unexplained spells, fainting, or seizure-like episodes. Every visit is unhurried, thorough, and focused on getting your child the right answers and the right care. We coordinate closely with your child's primary care clinician and any other members of your child's care team to build a plan that fits your family's life. This service is currently offered at our West Bloomfield, Mich. location and is available to families across Michigan.

Conditions our pediatric neurologists treat

Neurological symptoms in children can feel confusing and worrying–a sudden spell, recurring headaches, missed milestones, or behavior that doesn’t seem to fit. Our pediatric neurologist takes the time to listen, evaluate, and explain, then partners with you and your child’s primary care team on a clear plan that fits your family's life.

  • Developmental delay
Evaluating delays in motor, language, or cognitive milestones to identify the underlying cause and connect families with the right specialists, therapies, and supports.

  • Headache and migraine
Diagnosing and managing recurring or severe headaches in children and teens, including migraines, with treatment plans focused on relief, prevention, and identifying triggers.

  • Seizures and epilepsy
Evaluating new or ongoing seizures, ordering and interpreting EEGs and other testing, and creating personalized treatment plans to help kids stay safe and seizure-free.

  • Spells, syncope, and rule-out seizure evaluations
Sorting out unexplained episodes—fainting, staring spells, or unusual movements—to determine whether they are seizures, syncope, or something else, and what to do next.

  • ADHD
Evaluating attention, focus, and impulse-control concerns in the context of your child’s overall neurological development, and coordinating treatment with your primary care and behavioral health teams.

  • Autism spectrum disorder and comorbid conditions
Supporting children with autism and the conditions that often go with it—such as seizures, sleep difficulties, or developmental delays—with care that addresses the whole picture.
  • Tics and Tourette's and comorbid conditions
Diagnosing tic disorders and Tourette syndrome, and managing related concerns like ADHD, OCD, or anxiety, with strategies tailored to your child’s daily life.
  • Sleep disorders
Identifying and treating sleep problems with neurological roots, from disrupted sleep linked to seizures or ADHD to other patterns affecting your child’s rest, mood, and learning.
