FAQs
Urgent care may be appropriate for infants and toddlers with symptoms such as fever, cough, congestion, ear pain, vomiting, or rashes — especially when care is needed the same day. For very young infants or symptoms that require hands-on evaluation, in-person urgent care is typically recommended.
Some mild concerns for older infants and toddlers may also be addressed through pediatric telehealth, depending on symptoms and location.
For school-age children, pediatric urgent care is ideal for sudden illnesses and minor injuries that can’t wait for a routine appointment. This includes sore throats, ear infections, stomach pain, flu-like symptoms, rashes, pink eye, and minor cuts or sprains.
In certain cases, telehealth visits may be available for symptom review, follow-up questions, or conditions that do not require a physical exam.

In some cases, yes. Pediatric telehealth may be appropriate for certain urgent concerns, including mild illnesses, rashes, pink eye symptoms, medication questions, or follow-up care when a physical exam isn’t required.
If your child’s symptoms require hands-on evaluation, we’ll guide you to in-person pediatric urgent care.
If your child has mild symptoms, questions about care, or needs follow-up guidance, telehealth may be a convenient option. If symptoms involve fever in young infants, pain, injury, or anything requiring a physical exam, in-person pediatric urgent care is typically the best choice.
Our team can help guide families to the right visit type based on age, symptoms, and location.
